What is LezCamp and why should I go?
LezCamp is an inclusive sapphic weekend retreat where queer women from all over the country come together to connect, unwind, build community, and just generally have a great time. Whether you’re looking to try new activities, make queer friends, or just have some fun in the sun, LezCamp has got you covered.

LezCamp 2023 takes place July 27-30!
Is LezCamp inclusive?
Yes! LezCamp is an inclusive retreat that welcomes all queer women, trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming folks. The LezCamp organizers strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of identity or background, and there is a zero tolerance policy for discrimination and harassment. You can expect a supportive and inclusive environment where you can be yourself and connect with others.
Where is LezCamp located?
LezCamp takes place in various locations around the picturesque town of Eureka Springs, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. Think of it as a big takeover where the coolest women loving women from across the country gather in one of the gayest small towns in America.
What kinds of events and activities happen at LezCamp?
Check out the General Schedule page for more specific info about this year’s LezCamp, but expect of wide range of activities including outdoor adventures, dance parties, arts and crafts, workshops, and social events.
Who comes to LezCamp?
LezCamp is open to all queer women, trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming individuals who are 18 years or older. One of the best things about LezCamp is the diversity represented by LezCampers!

What does my LezCamp registration fee include and pay for?
Registration fees are used to pay for event space rentals and go toward supporting the hard work of the organizers and hired talent who make LezCamp possible. Your registration fee will get you access to all LezCamp parties, events, workshops, and activities for the weekend, including the river float where you will have access to free floating devices.
In addition to all of the planned activities, your registration fee also includes a free brunch on Friday, pizza at the Beaver Lake takeover, and grilling stations at the various venues throughout the weekend. Grilling stations will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, toppings, and condiments, but you’ll be responsible for grilling your own food. Finally, you will also receive discount deals at local restaurants and retail shops if you want to explore other food options.
Where do LezCamp events take place around Eureka Springs?
Most LezCamp activities take place in the areas surrounding the Wanderoo Lodge and the Eureka Springs Community Center complex. However, retreat organizers work hard to ensure LezCampers have a diverse range of activities to participate in, so the weekend’s events will take place all over the city. LezCampers are also encouraged to get out on their own and explore the local restaurants, bars, and outdoor spaces that Eureka Springs has to offer.
What are the lodging options for LezCamp?
You can check out the suggested lodging options on the Hotel & Campground page, but LezCampers can stay anywhere around the town of Eureka Springs and still participate in all the LezCamp activities. There are several hotels, cabins, campgrounds, and Airbnbs around town that would make great options. Some of the closest lodging options for most LezCamp activities are the Wanderoo Lodge, Sherwood Court, and Best Western Inn of the Ozarks.
What should I bring to LezCamp?
What you bring to LezCamp will depend on the activities you want to participate in and where you plan on staying. Generally, it’s best to bring comfortable clothing and shoes, toiletries, any personal necessities such as medications, and a positive attitude with an open mind!
Here is a more specific list of items you may also want to bring in addition to your necessities:
· Swimming suits (helpful to have more than one)
· Sunscreen
· Sunglasses/Hat
· Beach towels
· Water shoes
· Float device for Beaver Lake (optional)
· Camp chairs
· Cooler for personal drinks
· Lawn games
· Water games
· Board games (in case it’s rainy)
· Something for the White Party. Dress to impress!
· Guitar or hand drums (for drum circle)
· Glow sticks for the Glow Party
· $1 bills for Drag Brunch (some will be available at camp in case you forget)
· Yoga mat (for yoga sessions)
· If you’re camping, make sure to bring all your own camping gear including a tent, sleeping bag, etc.
Are kids allowed at LezCamp?
LezCamp is an adults-only weekend retreat, so all LezCampers must be 18 or older.
Is LezCamp accessible?
The LezCamp organizers are committed to accessibility and we do our best to offer a variety of activities to ensure that everyone can participate. Where is alcohol allowed?
You can bring your own alcohol to LezCamp, but certain events will not allow outside drinks. Outside drinks are not allowed at any LezCamp hosted parties or the Gravel Bar at Wanderoo Lodge. Alcohol will be available for purchase at these events!
Will I still have fun at LezCamp even if I’m sober?
While alcohol will be available at some LezCamp activities, it is not the main focus of the weekend. We’ve done our best to ensure there are sober activities available such as the tea dance, morning yoga, coffee socials, and a planned sober social.
