Shawna is our Lez Camp Director. She is one of the former organizers of San Diego Dyke March as well as a founding member of the V.A.G.I.N.A. (Vibrant Activist Grrrls Invoking National Attention) Organization. She owns and operates a Catering and Event Services Company in Kansas City.
Shawna produces LGBTQ+ Community Building Events all across the United States.

Megan is our Volunteer Coordinator! She works as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and loves painting and mixed media. Megan lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her wife and two dogs, Gracie and Cupcake.

I moved to Kansas in 2018 from the East Coast. I found myself lonely and not knowing a soul here, but ready for this new venture. I was online one day and came across a lesbian group called Kansas City lesbians (KCL). I was so excited to get out and meet new friends. I came across a post that changed my world as I knew it. The post is about a float trip, a four day trip for lesbians. I thought to myself, I am so there! I went on my first lesbian float trip ever. This is where it all began. I must’ve taken 1000 photos from my phone and posted them on the Lez summer camp page. I was a single woman, having the time of my life. Walking up to strangers and taking pictures of everybody and every event that went on throughout those four days. We were having such a memorable time, and I captured those moments that they forgot to document. They were all so pleased that someone cared enough to take the pictures and share the memories for them to steal and put on their page. Lez camp has gone on for three years now, and I haven’t and won’t miss it ever!! I’m a Lez summer camp fanatic! Once you go, you will never not go. So on my third year, I became the official lez camp photographer. I am super excited to meet new women every year and take all the pictures that will be cherished forever.

Noa is our Kansas City Area Caravan Coordinator.
This is their fourth year in the role... they kill it every time! They’ve been driving on road trips since they were 15 and loves being behind the wheel. Getting to lead a parade of lesbians just adds to the fun! They love meeting new people and are excited to go on a road trip with you.
